Deloraine Creative Studios presents a two month long exhibition of joyful heart-warming art by John Perrin and Su Van Den Heuvel
After having lived in China for awhile Su now uses chinese inks, rice paper, and hand made paper for her collages and paintings.
Other influences in her art come from her travels and the exurberance of nature. She experiments with all mediums and textures including lino printing and combines cagligraphy with her art.
John studied Art at TAFT College Sydney and has drawn and painted for most of his life. His preferred medium is to use is acrylics and pastels.
His subjects range from sea scapes, boats, birds and marine animals. Currently he is exploring a more abstract form. John is retired now and enjoys the peace his craft offers him. At present John enjoys his passion fully now and greets visitors all year long.
Together John Perrin and Su Van Den Heuvel exhibit their work in their Artsea Gallery in St. Helen. Come and enjoy their extremely beautiful and splendid works all month long at Deloraine Creative Studios.
The Deloraine Creative Studios stage exhibitions and displays to showcase work by Tasmanian artists and craftspeople. Our attractive Gallery space provides a generous venue for exhibitions of work by DCS Studio residents as well as independent artists and community groups.
Deloraine is well known as a centre for art and craft and exhibitions here draw a diverse public attendance from within Tasmania as well as from the mainland and overseas. The gallery has many exhibitions throughout the year so there is always something new to see.
